Doctor by the UNED. Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia with the thesis La universidad de la teoría de la mente y otras capacidades mentalistas un estudio evolutivo transcultural en niños zapotecos, españoles y regiomontanos. 1999. Supervised by Dr. Encarnación Sarriá Sánchez.

I have a PhD from UNED in Spain and a BA in Psychology from UANL in Mexico. I am a Psychology lecturer and have expertise in teaching Research Methodology. My research experience includes various projects related to Theory of Mind and culture. Additionally, I have co-directed projects aimed at developing emotional competencies in children, such as the "Thinking Emotions" program, which has been successfully implemented in kindergarten and primary school settings. My research interests also extend to self-conscious emotions in childhood, including envy, gratitude, and schadenfreude. Recently, I have joined the Global Tales project, which explores personal narratives from a transcultural perspective with a focus on emotions.
